Isle of Wight trip!

Hello darlings!!!

I'm back from my week long trip of visiting friends and I am pooped! It feels really weird to not be surrounded by people, it's a bit lonely D: As I'm writing this I've literally just come back from my 4 day trip to the Isle of Wight to visit one of my best friends, Ananya with Marie.

The last time I went to the isle of Wight was last year, in fact I wrote an entry about it in August last year! It's funny, it doesn't feel like it was that long ago.

Marie and I arrived on the island at 11:40 on Monday where Ananya picked us up and whisked us back to her place. I still can't get over how massive her house is. her family used to run it as a hotel up until a couple of years ago. 

This isn't even half of it.

 I find it a really strange idea that a person can have a house with rooms that they don't go into. 

Here are the clothes that I packed. I only just realized I missed out 3 garments. Whoops!

We made all these fancy plans to go to the beach and chill in the sun but alas the weather was rubbish so we spent most of the time trying to look as disgusting as possible, doing make-up, eating and making stupid noises. 

On the first day we thought it would be fun to make me brown.

We were also all suddenly inspired to bleach and shave off half our eyebrows. We then did the only rational thing you can do when only having half your eyebrows, which is to do visual kei make-up.

Not bad for a first try aye?

The main reason I "dramatically altered" my eyebrows is because my own brows suck i.e. grow too fast and can't be plucked into a shape I like plus half-brows look great for gyaru makeup~

On the second day, we got half a day of sunshine so decided to go to the beach for a little walk. The sea-weed STANK so effing bad that we didn't stay long.

Initially, one of our plans for our Isle of Wight trip was to write SHINee's Taemin a birthday message in the sand but for some reason this came out.

I always say this but I really wish I took more pictures. Ananya's house is so flipping huge, when I did want to capture a moment, I'd have to sprint through the house up several slights of stairs to get it, there are so many times I would have loved to have a camera at the ready e.g. making gross rye pancakes, Taemin pizza, chocolate face masks, scaring the gardener, the dead-shrew moment, playing video games, Marie sending pictures of her boobs to Japanese rock band Girugamesh's Satoshi via twitter. FUN TIMES.

Yesterday, the weather was so bad that we just sat in side, watched 'Suicide Club' [which is basically the worst movie I have ever seen in my life, it made no sense and was nothing like the manga] and drew on each other yet again while today was mainly spent traveling back home.

I'm not even that tired now, though I should probably try and get some sleep because my sleeping pattern is messed up at the moment.

I'll write an entry about stuff I bought in the next couple of days~ I'll also update as to whether my parents actually notice my missing eyebrows!

New blog name and Minnie mouse hair tutorial

Hello all!!

Welcome to my newly name-changed blog ~ I hope the name-change hasn't caused anyone confusion., it was a bit of a spontaneous decision really. As much as I loved my old url, seeing as it it was inspired by Capsule's song Candy Cutie, I could no longer ignore the fact that it sounds like the kind of thing a 4 year old girl has written on a t-shirt or what a 14 year old girl would slap across one of those BLINGEE  graphics in glitter.

AM I KAWAII YET?

So, sticking with my theme of having Japanese techno songs as url names, I settled in Galaxy Girl, which is a little line from the song Galaxy Boy by Aira Mitsuki

For some reason I felt like elated having a new name~ Anyway I'm rambling, if any of you have my old url lurking around, please change it to this one ^^ 

On my last entry one of my followers asked (before all my comments got erased when I changed my blog name) if I would do a tutorial on Minnie-mouse hair so here we go! All you will need are hairbands, a brush and hair spray.

(Please excuse my clothes and the fact that my boob is basically falling out of my shitty Elle magazine freebie top, I'm in bedroom/slobbing mode.)

GO CRAZY. If your hair is anything like mine, it doesn't take kindly to teasing and the poof falls out really fast.

hold the tip loosely, you don't want to create a swirl bun l you want it to look like a ball of hair. Tie with elastics + repeat!

It's as simple as that but it doesn't take practice trying to get both of the buns to be the same size.

It's a Saturday night and I'm bored and I've been on the internet, slobbing around coughing my lungs out, reading Junji Ito comics all day creeping myself out. Other than going out to hunt for a new laptop for me to take to university [[because I GOT THE GRADES I NEEDED SCORE -flail-]] I have done nothing else so I shall just share some fun stuff with you.

Up until about 10 minutes ago, I was sitting at my computer quite on edge after reading 7 volumes of his work, this combined with boredom drove me to make my own version of some of the pages.

First page: Girl needs to eat ghosts to sustain her life. Here she is leaping around trying to catch the ghost of her boyfriend's dead wife and child so the same eat them

Many questions spring to mind; copulation HOW? WHY? That thing is their CHILD? WHERE THE HELL DID SHE COME FROM?

How are you all doing?

I have finally finished my 2 year fashion course at college, which is really sad so I'm sat here now with absolutely nothing to do! This is a life-time first! I'm trying to make the most of my time by being as constructive as possible! I'm trying to get everything organised for university. I don't officially know my grades until tomorrow but my teachers said I don't have to worry about not getting not reaching the grades I need because apparently they're high enough =_= thank god. Other than that and seeing friends and the like, I don't now what to do with myself so I thought I would blog about some of the stuff I have bought recently~

I'm serously lacking in flat shoes at the moment infact I had none so I decided to get these for £20 from New Look!

They actually have a bit of a heel but I find shoes with a bit of a heel much more comfortable to walk in.

I really don't know what to wear with it but I really like it. it's a really awkward top because the tassels just hang out all over the place.

I got this bag a couple of months back when I went looking for a new bag for college. It's rather snazzy but I quite regret getting it now...

For £48, it really isn't worth the money. The material is a stretchy face leather than easily tears revealing the underneath not-so-nice stuff. The plasticy border on the handles are starting to tear in places and the bottom of the bag has started going blue for some reason. TLDR: Don't buy Marc B bags folks!

I bought some classy jewelry from Primark when I was out with Marie and Unni 2 weeks ago.

 MANLY JEWELRY IS MANLY. it only came to about £7 in total :D Viva Primark!

And today after I went to the doctors about my dislocating jaw adn went to the bank, I went to Boots and got some eye shadows and blusher from the 7 range there.

Talking of ring faces, have any of you guys seen Japanese model Kyary Pamyupamyu? I see her on Gyaru tumbles quite a lot. She's not  a gal though, she's a newish Kera model and she makes the most fantastic derp faces.
